What is Symphony of the Cells™?

Symphony of the Cells™ are essential oil applications developed by Boyd Truman and designed to help anyone bring harmony physically, emotionally, and spiritually within the body. The applications were created with the knowledge that every condition is connected to a body system. Each application takes a focused approach, addressing a specific body system and targeting the underlying causes and symptoms of various conditions. The applications incorporate pure, therapeutic-grade essential oils and utilize a layering technique. What is Boyd Truman's background?

Boyd Truman has been actively engaged in the wellness industry for 26+ years. He studied massage therapy, training in many different modalities, both with and without essential oils. For over 2 decades, he has researched and used essential oils, gaining valuable knowledge in the understanding of the workings of the human body and essential oils. His experience and hands-on approach to using the oils have blessed the lives of his family, friends and associates, as well as has allowed him to build a community of essential oil users throughout the world.

What is the difference between Symphony of the Cells™ and the AromaTouch® Technique?

The AromaTouch Technique® is a wonderful technique developed by doTERRA International to create a feeling of overall wellness. The Symphony of the Cells™ applications can also be used to create a feeling of overall wellness, however, each application is designed to support a specific body system with the essential oils that are most beneficial for that specific system. This allows the user to effectively target certain concerns or ailments.

I am new to essential oils. Is Symphony of the Cells™ too advanced for me?

Symphony of the Cells™ is beneficial for all essential oil users, from entry-level to advanced. The applications were designed to keep things simple for anyone at any level, with simple to follow steps that take the stress or guesswork out of applying essential oils. The applications can be easily utilized to benefit yourself or others! We also welcome all essential oil user levels to attend our trainings and expand their knowledge.

Is Symphony of the Cells™ safe to use on children?

Yes, Symphony of the Cells™ is safe to use on children. We recommend you follow all safety and dilution warnings listed in the Symphony of the Cells™ booklets and reduce the number of drops of oil per application.

Can the Symphony of the Cells™ applications be performed on yourself?

You can absolutely perform the Symphony of the Cells™ applications on yourself! Simply apply the applications where you can on your back, and on the bottoms of your feet.

Can the Symphony of the Cells™ application steps be performed using roller bottles?

You can utilize roller bottles, however, for maximum absorption and benefit, we recommend layering the oils. We cannot replace the benefit of human touch.

Do I need to have a massage table to perform Symphony of the Cells™ applications?

No! Symphony of the Cells™ can be performed wherever it is most convenient for you; in the comfort of your own home, on a bed, the floor, or a couch, etc.

Do I need to be a certified massage therapist to perform Symphony of the Cells™ applications?

No! Anyone can perform a Symphony of the Cells™ application. However, in order to incorporate the applications into your business, you must hold a massage therapy license and be approved.

Can Symphony of the Cells™ only be applied as a massage therapy technique?

Although Symphony of the Cells™ can be integrated into a massage therapy application, it is also widely used as a “quick” essential oil application with no massage therapy involved.

What can I expect at a Symphony of the Cells™ training?

When you attend an Official Symphony of the Cells™ training led by Boyd Truman, you can expect to learn about each Symphony of the Cells™ essential oil application and the science/research behind each of the applications. You will grow your knowledge on pure, therapeutic-grade essential oils and other natural nutrients, discovering how to effectively choose which oils to support specific body systems/ailments. The training will improve your massage therapy skills and grow your knowledge of the natural progression of illnesses, body systems, and how they relate.

Which oils are used at a Symphony of the Cells™ training?

Symphony of the Cells™ uses only 100% certified pure, therapeutic-grade essential oils.

Do I receive a certification in Symphony of the Cells™ after attending?

We offer certificates of completion to licensed massage therapists based in the US who attend and complete a Symphony of the Cells™ training. If you are a licensed massage therapist interested in obtaining a certificate, simply fill out our CE Certificate form. We will email you a certificate of completion you can use to apply for 6 CE credits with the NCBTMB.

Can I be Symphony of the Cells™ certified?

No one can be Symphony of the Cells™ certified. However, Symphony of the Cells™ is certified with the NCBTMB, therefore, licensed massage therapists based in the US, can receive 6 CE credits after completing an official training with Boyd Truman.

I took the Symphony of the Cells™ training. Can I host my own class and charge for it?

We encourage you to share your Symphony of the Cells™ knowledge with friends, family members, or anyone who can benefit. However, it goes against our regulations to charge for an unofficial Symphony of the Cells™ class. If you are interested in more information on class regulations and compliancy, please email contact@symphonyofthecells.com and we would be happy to help you with any questions. **Disclaimer: This essential oil application technique is intended for personal use and not for monetary benefit. Anyone who uses it for any non-personal use assumes all responsibility for that use and must comply with the laws of their state.

What is the refund policy for Symphony of the Cells™ trainings?

You may request a refund of your ticket purchase up to 2 weeks (14 days) before the scheduled training. Any refunds requested within 2 weeks (14 days) of the training will NOT be refunded. If you choose to refund, please be advised that the processing fees are NONREFUNDABLE. Your refund will be processed minus the processing fee. You can expect to see the credit in your account within 5-7 business days. If you have any questions, please contact your bank as their processing times may differ.

Symphony of the Cells™ reserves the right to cancel an event for any reason. If your event is cancelled, you will be informed via email or phone as soon as possible. In the event of a cancellation, you will be refunded within 30 days. Your refund method will be based on your original method of payment. Any payment processing fees are nonrefundable.
